William Reid, Ph.D., is a Research and Extension Horticulturist specializing in the culture of nut tree crops. He is director of the Pecan Experiment Field at Kansas State University and is Nut Crops Extension Specialist for both Kansas and Missouri. His applied research program encompasses studies in native pecan management, pecan culture in northern states, and the commercialization of black walnut as an orchard crop.
