Agroforestry-related research interests include evaluation of runoff, sediment, and nutrient losses influenced by vegetative buffer strips. Ongoing research projects include characterization of soil hydraulic properties under agroforestry buffer strips and utilization of x-ray computed tomography techniques to quantify soil pore size distributions under forest and grass buffers.
